High School Students Part 1 Leadership and Career preference workshops
Week 1 – Leadership of Self – Through the Personality Dimensions assessment Students will better understand themselves and others.
As we move into the winter term there are MANY unknowns ahead for our teens! Just like for us, the new year brings opportunities for growth!
As they prepare for High School, or to move into Higher Grades, qualify for School Letters, make Friends, Land Jobs, handle Social Situations, deal with the stress of Homework, struggle with Time-Management, wrap their minds (and yours) around Post Secondary Choices, etc, etc, etc…
A life coach for teens can offer the expertise, objectivity and trusted confidentiality, to work with your teen to tap into their inner selves and assist with the many teenage transitions and challenges they may be facing.
An effective coach can help teens:
• Explore and establish goals (social, academic, career)
• Foster optimism, positive attitude and build confidence by setting, hitting and celebrating realistic goals.
• Manage transition stress and anxiety with tangible plans
• Learn to take accountability of their lives and choices
• Set personal boundaries and foster self worth
• Understand and explore emotional ‘triggers’
and potentially damaging reactions
• Through Self-Assessments, feel pride
about their strengths and understand areas of growth
• Sooooooo much more!!
With effective coaching, teens will gain the confidence they need to make the most of their opportunities and challenges. They’ll learn how to effectively navigate through the transition years and come out the other end with a confident self awareness, understanding the power of boundaries and accountability and direction on their social, academic and potential career interests. Most importantly, Coached teens will have a clearer vision of themselves and their worth, as they tackle the world around them.
